I wouldn't call myself a jazz fan, but occasionally I'm grabbing some genre highlights, when I feel like it. Fusion, big band, and piano trios are among the most frequent purchases in this respect, and this exciting album by composer and arranger Jihye Lee represents the sunniest sides of the vast territory of big band jazz. It's obvious that I'm currently quite a bit into unusual big band music... Miho Hazama, Monika Roscher, and Jacob Mann are currently among my favorite artists I'm listening to. "Journey to Journey" - Miho Hazama's debut album with her ensemble "m_unit" - precedes "Time River" by more than two years, but it doesn't sound like a debut at all. Her skills as a composer, arranger, and pianist obviously were in full bloom right from the start. Frankly, jazz is not among my favorite genres, but sometimes it gets quite close. Sven B. The music of Miho was a nice discovery and inspiration for me. Great compositions, memorable melodic lines, a sophisticated harmony and, of course, an incredible team of musicians. I will be looking forward to future releases. Best regards, K. Karolis B.

As usual, Miho exceeds the expected result with the mastery of her compositions both technically and artistically. With the amazing musicians of Danish Radio Big Band, the album is an absolute delight! Karolis B.
